At A2B Car Keys, we help people make and program transponder keys, remotes, & smart fobs for their vehicles. Specializing in spare key & remote programming at our physical office here in Albuquerque, NM—often with same day options available, quick service (usually under 30 min), and at much lower cost than the dealership.
We understand that most used vehicles are sold with just one key, and it’s usually not something people think about until it becomes a problem. We see worn-out fobs, broken buttons, and customers stranded because of a lost key. When that one key fails or gets lost, it quickly turns into a much bigger and more expensive situation.
That’s why we’ve built our shop around being welcoming, transparent, and making an intimidating task feel easy. You can expect clear answers, friendly service, and a process that feels simple—not stressful.

Modern vehicles use transponder or smart keys that need to be programmed to the car. Without programming, the vehicle won’t recognize the key—even if it turns in the ignition.

Yes 👍 that’s actually the best time to make a spare. It’s quicker, easier, and more affordable than waiting until all keys are lost.

In many cases, yes. Programming charges apply for the attempt, but we cannot guarantee customer-supplied keys.

We carry a wide range of key fobs, including smart keys, remote fobs, and upgraded flip-style options. Many of our in-stock options are aftermarket, which offer the same functionality as original keys but with different styles—including some upgraded designs. Most can be done the same day.

We’re located at 2130 San Mateo Blvd NE Suite F in Albuquerque.
If you’re coming from I-40, take San Mateo going south. We’re right by the first light at Indian School, located between the Starbucks and the gas station.
If parking is limited in the front, we can also help guide you to the rear entrance—just give us a call when you arrive 👍

We can take a look 👍 most times it’s just a battery, which we can replace. If the fob is no longer working, we don’t repair old keys, but we can help with a replacement.

In most cases, yes. Your vehicle needs to be present for programming so we can sync the key or fob to your car.
